Manna Air Delivery Closed $50M Series B
Atlantic Bridge-backed Manna Air Delivery has raised $50 million in Series B funding to expand its autonomous aerial delivery service across the United States and Europe which brings the company's total funding to $110 million. The round was backed by ARK Invest, the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and Schooner Capital, with the continued support of existing investors Coca-Cola HBC, Molten Ventures and Enterprise Ireland.
Founded in Ireland in 2019, Manna has completed more than 250,000 regulated commercial drone flights across Ireland, Finland and Texas. Typical deliveries arrive in under three minutes, with CO2 emissions around 85% lower than road-based delivery.
The new funding will not just support Manna's expansion to 40 operational bases across the US and Europe, but will also grow its team from 170 to more than 570 people. All 400 new roles will be based in the United States and Europe across robotics, software engineering, aviation operations and regulatory functions.
Manna's platform integrates with major delivery apps including Uber, Deliveroo, Just Eat and DoorDash, allowing customers to order air delivery through the services they already use.
