Mark Horgan – Partner, Dublin
Mark most recently was CEO of Mentor Capital, a venture capital firm which he founded in 2001 that specialized in investing in and mentoring early growth stage technology companies. Previously he was the Group Financial Director of Mentec Limited an established enterprise software company for six years where he executed a number of merger and acquisition deals including a partial exit for shareholders. He oversaw a radical repositioning of Mentec which involved the successful divestiture of non-core assets and a focus on enterprise software.
Prior to that Mark held various senior financial and operations positions in the Mentec group. Previously, he held a number of senior financial management positions in McInerney Properties plc and at Eastman Kodak. He is currently a director of a number of Atlantic Bridge portfolio companies, including Accuris and Biosensia. Mark is also vice Chairman of the Irish Venture Capital Association (IVCA).
Mark holds a B. Comm from University College, Cork and an M.B.A. from University College, Dublin. In addition, Mark is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland
