Brian Long – General Partner, Dublin

Brian Long has over 25 years' operating experience in the technology industry, working in both the U.S. and European markets. Brian founded Parthus Technologies plc (now CEVA Inc.) in 1993 and served as its Founder and CEO for nine years. In 2000, Brian led the company through the successful Initial Public Offering on both the LSE and NASDAQ stock markets at a valuation of $340m. During his time at Parthus he managed the company through multiple realization events, five acquisitions and the successful secondary stock market offering in November 2000 at a valuation of $1.5B. In 2006 Brian founded GloNav Inc a GPS semiconductor company, which was sold to NXP In January 2008 for $110M.

Brian co-founded Atlantic Bridge in 2006 an early/mid-stage Technology fund with over $400m under management. Brian has lead investments and successful exists in nine companies including;
Aran Technologies Limited, OMI Limited, Firecomms Limited, Nanotech Semiconductor Limited, GloNav Inc, BridgeCo Inc, SiliconBlue Technologies Inc, Osmetta Inc, and Ozmo Inc.

Brian is a judge and past recipient on the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year award both in Ireland and worldwide. He is the named inventor on a number of U.S. and European IC patents. Brian holds Boards seats on Maginatics Inc, Solavei Inc, Swrve Inc, Movidius Inc, Quixey Inc, BlueData Inc and Hedvig Inc. He holds an undergraduate and masters degree in Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
