Paul Harvey - Partner Paul has extensive financing and merger and acquisition experience in the European technology sector. Paul was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs International. From 1998 through 2004, Mr. Harvey was head or co head of GS's European Technology Investment Banking business, which he helped build into the leading European technology corporate finance and merger and acquisition practice in the investment banking industry. From 1996 through 1998, he was head of Deutsche Bank's European Technology Investment Banking business, and from 1994 to 1996, he was head of Morgan Stanley's European Technology Investment Banking business. From 1985 to 1994, Mr. Harvey worked in various corporate finance and equity management roles in Morgan Stanley's New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and London offices.

From 1999 to 2004, Goldman Sachs was involved in $16.3 billion of technology financing transactions and acquisition transactions having an aggregate transaction value of approximately $60.7 billion. Mr. Harvey has an extensive network of senior executive, entrepreneur and venture capital contacts with whom he has worked in the European technology sector for the last 17 years. He has extensive experience in building professional services practices, having built the European technology investment banking practices of Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Harvey is a regular speaker at European technology and private equity industry conferences and is frequently interviewed by the financial media regarding technology markets. Beginning in 1999 Mr Harvey worked with Goldman Sachs to source, invest and exit an investment in Silicon Systems, a predecessor to Parthus Technologies which currently trades as CEVA on NASDAQ. He joined the board of Parthus when the investment was made and advised and worked with management on acquisitions, the IPO and secondary offerings and participated in the strategic and operational development of Parthus.

Paul holds a BSBA in International Management and Accounting and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a member of the High Tech Committee of the European Venture Capital Association and currently serves on the Board of Optical Metrology Innovations.
