James Law – Associate, London

James joined Atlantic Bridge in May 2008. Prior to that, he worked from 2006 to 2008 in the Finance team at Circle Health, an emerging healthcare services provider. While at Circle, James focused on assisting the company's fundraising efforts, including four rounds of equity investment into the company, with the last round bringing in a strategic financial investor, as well as the first debt financing for its hospital development program. In total, he helped Circle to secure close to £100m of funding. James was also involved in Circle's business development and acquisition activities, including the acquisition of Nations Healthcare in June 2007.

Before joining Circle, James worked as an investment banker at Banc of America Securities (BAS), in their New York office from 2005 to 2006, and in their London office from 2003 to 2005. While at BAS, James specialised in working with healthcare companies, and helped advise clients on mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, capital raising and other strategic issues. James began his career at N M Rothschild, where he worked in the healthcare corporate finance team in 2002.

James holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, UK.
