Press Releases Openmind Networks celebrates successful period with the announcement of five messaging wins using Cisco’s IP Transfer point. 13 February 2006 Openmind Networks today announced that they have recently won and deployed five new messaging contracts including; Mobiltel, Bulgaria, Syniverse in Florida, and Tele.ring, Austria. The messaging solutions are all developed on Openmind Networks fourth generation platform called Message-OSTM and include the Cisco IP Transfer Point (ITP) a product for transporting SS7 traffic over IP (SS7oIP) networks. The Message-OSTM platform is the most advanced messaging platform available and enables operators to quickly and efficiently deploy new services. It provides all the expected functionality of a telecom grade platform including scalability, reliability and manageability which allows operators to respond quickly to subscriber service demands. Cisco's technology forms part of the messaging solutions, with Cisco's IP Transfer Point (ITP) providing the operators with native IP connectivity to their core network and ensuring that SMS traffic is evenly distributed to designated SMSCs.
