Optical Metrology Innovations Appoints Bill Flecky as Vice President Of Sales, North America.

Cork, Ireland, September 12, 2005

OMI today announced the appointment of Bill Flecky as Vice President Sales for North America. In this role Bill will be responsible for spearheading OMI's growth in the region. He will play a key role in the management team to ensure we are continually refining our product strategy to meet the needs of the major players in the semiconductor market.

Bill was previously CEO of Bede Scientific's US subsidiary with full P&L responsibility for the operation. Bill was on the Bede PLC board of directors and a member of the executive committee established to drive company direction and strategy.
